Schab; loving father of Kevin and Patrick (Jeanne) Schab; dearest grandfathe­r of Jacob, Andrew and the late Katelyn Schab; cherished brother of Rob (Diane) Schab; fond uncle of Kurt (Sarah) Schab. Lorin was a Section Chief at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Chicago and a Volunteer of Medewin National Tall Grass Prairie. Age 59 of Stickney, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born to Geraldine Sevilla and the late David Sevilla on January 14, 1959.

Janet was an employee of United Airlines for over 30 years and the Vice President of Midwest SOARRING Foundation for nearly 20 years.

She married the love of her life, Joseph Standing Bear Schranz, of twenty-one years on December 23, 2017.

She leaves behind her husband and mother. She also leaves behind her children, Heather Mummert (Richard) and Randal Hicks (Rose Dunphy); her only grandchild, Alek Mummert who was the love of her life; her stepdaught­er, Suzanne Schranz. She also leaves behind her brother, David Sevilla (Bonnie); sister, Helen Hinrichsen (Robert), and sister, Linda Gray (Chris). She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, David Sevilla (Jessica), Robert Hinrichsen, Anthony Hinrichsen, Deanna Sevilla, Jessica Sevilla, and Sarah Hinrichsen. She had many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too.

Janet was known for her big heart, warm smile, and giving soul. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend.

Arrangemen­ts have been made through Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Stickney, IL. Visitation will be from 3:30-9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26. Funeral service will be at the same location at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27th with the interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. (nee Cooper) 78, beloved wife of Mark; loving mother of Lauren (Timothy Gilbert) Spiro. Barbara was an amazing person who was positive about everything even in the face of adversity or trouble. She charmed and enchanted everyone she met, from the people at the bank, to the person behind the counter at their favorite Chinese restaurant. Family, friends, strangers - they were all drawn to her warm and gregarious personalit­y. She had a great sense of humor and always wanted to find the silver lining in everything. As a person who was easy to talk to, she was an incredibly caring person who genuinely wanted to know about her fellow human beings.
