SPRING (TRAINING) IN THEIR STEP

Fans stand in line Saturday to purchase tickets for Cubs spring-training games at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz. The first formal workout for Cubs pitchers and catchers is Feb. 13, and the full squad comes together Feb. 18. The Cubs open their spring schedule Feb. 23 against the Brewers in Mesa. The 34th annual Cubs Convention is Friday though Sunday at the Sheraton Grand Chicago.
