4 SHOT — 2 FATALLY — IN WEST ENGLEWOOD

Two men were killed and two others were wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday night in West Englewood on the South Side.

The group was standing on the sidewalk about 7:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Garfield Boulevard when someone inside a gray vehicle opened fire, Chicago police said.

Two men, ages 42 and 48, suffered multiple wounds and were killed, police said. A third man, 24, was struck in the back and arm and was in serious condition. A 65-yearold man suffered gunshot wounds to the back and legs and was hospitaliz­ed, according to police.

3 shot in Near West Side drive-by

Three people were wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon on the Near West Side.

The group was on the sidewalk about 3:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Wilcox Street when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, Chicago police said.

A 28-year-old man was struck in the shoulder and was in critical condition. A 30-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and was in good condition. Another man was taken to a hospital, but his condition wasn’t known, according to police.

1 injured in Ravenswood blaze

One person was in fair condition after a fire early Saturday in Ravenswood on the North Side, according to the Chicago Fire Department. Firefighte­rs responded to the blaze in the 5000 block of North Clark Street shortly after 5 a.m. By 9 a.m., the main body of the fire had been extinguish­ed.
