Devin Brown, acquired in a trade with the New Orleans Hornets for backup center Aaron Gray, arrived in Oklahoma City on Tuesday and suited up Wednesday for the first time as a Bull.
‘‘Anytime you come to a new team in the middle of the season,’’ Brown said, ‘‘they’re going through their grind just like other teams, and suddenly you wake up and get on the bus, and it’s all new faces.’’
Brown said he brings a defensive mind-set and outside shooting to the Bulls.
‘‘He hasn’t practiced; he doesn’t know the plays,’’ coach Vinny Del Negro said ‘‘We’re on a tough road trip, so we’ll stay with our rotation unless there’s foul trouble or injuries. Hopefully, we’ll get him situated here within the next few days.’’
