Titans’ Britt hit with 1-game ban
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has been suspended one game by the NFL, the Tennessean reported Thursday.
The suspension resulted from several brushes with the law, the latest being a July 20 arrest for driving under the influence when trying to pass through a security gate at the Fort Campbell Army Post. Britt is unlikely to appeal his suspension.
Favre’s lawyers object
Brett Favre shouldn’t have to respond to some embarrassing claims about his personal life that two massage therapists are making in a lawsuit, his lawyers say.
The massage therapists say the New York Jets blacklisted them after they objected to suggestive messages Favre allegedly sent to another woman.
Favre’s attorneys say some requests are irrelevant and inappropriate, including a bid to get him to acknowledge that a lewd photo that appeared on a sports-gossip website depicts his own anatomy.
