PIPPEN WITHTHE180
Scottie Pippen can’t seem to make up his mind. Michael Jordan’s wing man on six NBA championship teams indicated last May that was the greatest player ever.
“Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game,’’ Pippen said. ‘‘But I may go as far as to say LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game because he’s so potent offensively that not only can he score at will, but he keeps everybody involved. Pippen quickly backed off those comments. “Don’t get me wrong, MJ was and is the greatest. But LeBron could by all means get to his level someday,” he tweeted.
But now Pippen looks to be back to his original position. In an interview with to promote the Bank of America Chicago Marathon “Express Your Thanks” campaign, which helps honor veterans, Pippen spoke about the debate.
“They’re both great players,” Pippen said. “LeBron is a better all-around player. Michael is better at scoring.”
Knocking down the G.O.A.T? Maybe Pip should zip the lip.
@Real_MKeating: Stop it please. You are in no position to criticize teachers or discuss economy. You play a damn game.”
@Flood25: “agree with you 100% I bet there’s plenty of unemployed teachers who would gladly take CPS’s current scale.”
