The Jackson briefs . . .

-

It has been rather quiet on the Jackson front since former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. pleaded guilty to stealing from his campaign funds last month.

It was thought Triple J had been ensconced at his home in Washington, D.C., with wife, former Ald.

Sandi Jackson, and out of the public eye while awaiting sentencing in June. Not so. Sneed hears Triple J and his father, affectionately known as “Reverend,” have been hanging out in a favorite Jackson bathhouse, now known as the Red Square Cafe Lounge — a renovation of the old Division Street Bathhouse at 1914 W. Division St.

“It’s a good place to relax and talk and work out the knots,” said a Sneed source, who claims the spa is known for its Russian and Turkish scrubs and massages. It’s no secret Triple J has been in a knotty situation with the feds for years.

“Both of the Jacksons, father and son, were here today [Friday],” said the source. “It’s a good place to hang out — and it’s the second time they’ve visited recently. They were getting massages — at least Rev. Jackson did — and enjoying the cafe.”

The old version of this bathhouse was a favorite hangout of Jackson Sr. — it was there he would meet Rev. James Meeks or hang out with LL Cool J.

It’s no surprise the Jacksons chose the fog of a good steamroom to talk over a future predestined by the feds.

Why not. Suds, blather & borscht . . . a great menu for remediation.
