Hollywood insiders were scratching their heads at Reese Witherspoon’s arrest for disorderly conduct.
The actress has a squeaky-clean reputation in Hollywood circles, so no one saw this coming. Sources say even though her father has issues with alcoholism, that she doesn’t have a drinking problem, and that her diva behavior toward the Atlanta cop who arrested her — and her husband, Jim Toth, for driving under the influence — has more do to with her Hollywood ego than a substance abuse problem.
“Her reaction has more to do with entitlement than alcohol,” the source said. “Celebrities believe they can get away with anything and Reese is no exception.”
Even though Jim was arrested for a DUI, sources say he is far from being a bad boy — unlike her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
“One of the reasons Reese’s first marriage didn’t work is because Ryan is a huge party animal,” the source said. “Her marriage with Jim is not like that. This is a rare incident.”

“Their wedding is on hold,” a source tells this column. “It’s a sore subject for John. There have been so many delays.”
The source says their clashing personalities are causing a rift in their relationship.
“John is the most easy-going guy. She’s very difficult and has problems making decisions. They are butting heads a lot.”
Kim & Kanye at odds over baby
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are already disagreeing on how to raise their child.
“They have two different visions,” a source said. “Kanye will be a fun and laid-back dad, but he doesn’t want to throw his child into the limelight. Kim, on the other hand, has big plans for turning their child into a money-making machine.”
The source says that Kim’s reality TV show continues to cause tension between the couple. “Kanye does not want to have anything to do with Kim’s reality world, and Kim doesn’t want to give it up. That’s a huge reason the couple barely spends any time together.”
