This campus party open to fans

The Bears’ bid to hoist a second Vince Lombardi trophy begins when players report to training camp July 25.

To get you in the mood, the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a training-camp kickoff dinner party at 5:30 p.m. July 24 at Chalfant Hall on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.

Attendees will get a free Bears poster, can meet Staley, the team mascot, and get autographs from a Bears player.

Ticket packages range from $200 to $600.
