Fake cop pulls woman over

-

A man acting as if he were a police officer and driving a car that may have had flashing lights, pulled a woman over in the northwest suburbs and asked to see her driver’s license. Around 2 p.m. Monday, a 41-year-old woman was driving through Park Ridge, where she was stopped by a man driving a white, older-model vehicle, according to Park Ridge Police. According to witnesses, the man used his hands to motion the woman to the side of the road, then parked behind her and approached her car, police said. He then asked if she was OK, the woman told police. After the encounter, he returned to his car and drove away. — STNG WIRE
