1 After games on April 8, the White Sox were 4-2 and in first place in the American League Central, the last time they were in first place this season. It was also their high point in games above .500.

2 The Sox cracked double figures in scoring five times, peaking in a 12-1 victory Sept. 16 against the Twins. The Sox, Brewers, Pirates, Rays and Mariners are the only teams not to score at least 13 runs in a game this season.

3 The Sox’ longest game of the season was on June 5, when they beat the Mariners 7-5 in 16 innings. The game took 5 hours, 42 minutes.

4 The Sox were 14-13 in May and 16-13 in August, their only two winning months of the season.

5 Chris Sale had a Game Score of 92 for his one-hit shutout of the Angels on May 12. 6Adam

Dunn had two games with 10 total bases to lead the Sox. On May 15 against the Twins, he had two homers and a double. On June 10 against the Blue Jays, he had two homers and two singles.

7 Sox pitchers allowed 365 runs on the road this season. They gave up 297 runs on the road in 2012.

8 On June 14, Chris Sale lost to the Astros. What made the game unique is that it was the only complete game the Sox had on the road all season.

9 The Sox finished 26-55 on the road this season, the most road losses in franchise history. Dylan Axelrod had the most losses on the road, going 1-9 with a 7.15 ERA.
