Eplett, Fredrick Russell "Russ"

69, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in High Point, NC, Fredrick worked as a V.P. of Engineering with Carrier/ United Technologies and Emerson Electric for 38 years, retiring in 2005. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church and was a member of the choir, also a Tenor and served on the Board of Directors of the Philharmonic Chorus; Vice President and Governance of Heartland Chamber Chorale; Board of Directors for SCORE.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Howe Eplett; sons, Jeffrey (fiancée Renee Alexander) Eplett of Brooklyn, NY and Christopher (Jennifer Jumper) Eplett of Natick, MA; brother, Richard (Mary) Eplett of Wimauma, FL; mother-in-law, Winifred Howe of Fort Wayne.

Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents, William Russell and Gladys Irene Eplett.

Funeral Service is Friday, 11:00 a.m., February 21, 2014 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W. Berry St. with calling one hour prior. Fr. Thomas Hansen officiating. Calling will also be Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home , 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Indiana.
