Focus on the students who are serious about learning
In response to an article in Other Views Sunday by Michael Milkie [“Expulsion heartbreaking but necessary], I wish to thank him for exposing the elephant in the room — it can be necessary to remove students who disrupt the learning process of the majority of students. Our consideration should be on those students who are in school to learn. When teachers can teach and learners can learn, there will be a
rise in test scores.
