3rd-party candidates have no easy time

Chad Grimm is the Libertarian candidate for Illinois governor, but he’s not campaigning this summer as much as defending his spot on the November ballot. “It’s very hard to raise money when you can’t say you’re on the ballot,” Grimm told the (Peoria) Journal Star. “This is just tying up the process.”
