Yeager, Carson Ward

Age 97, originally from Stockton, IL, resident of Hinsdale for over 50 years. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth; loving father of Carson R. (Dawn); cherished grandfather of Elizabeth and Caroline.

Graduate of Bradley University; Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during WWII; 30 year career as an electrical engineer with Illinois Bell Telephone and AT&T. Carson enjoyed oil painting, woodworking, gardening, and forestry. Long time member of Union Church of Hinsdale, Past Master of the Hinsdale Masonic Lodge and member of Plum Grove Masonic Lodge, Stockton, Scottish Rite, Shriners, Boy Scouts of America, Sons of the American Revolution, and Sons of Union Veterans.

Interment Ladies Union Cemetery, Stockton, IL. Private family service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carson’s honor to Union Church of Hinsdale, Hinsdale Masonic Lodge, or Plum Grove Masonic Lodge, Stockton, IL. Arrangement handled by Gibbons Elliston Funeral
