42 Grams isn’t your typical BYOB, but it will blow your socks off. Located in Uptown, this multicours­e prix-fixe restaurant grew out of husband-and-wife duo Jake Bickelhaup­t and Alexa Welsh’s supper club Sous Rising. The pair bought the space below their apartment and now serve fine dining worthy of Alinea or Charlie Trotter’s (both places where chef Jake used to work). The restaurant only holds 10 people at the communal table and eight at the kitchen counter, making it a great spot to meet new friends over unique dishes, or a perfect place to rent out for your closest foodie friends. 4662 N.
