Ebola real threat to America

- Larry Craig, Wilmette

If you were the principal of a school and a fire broke out in the basement, would you evacuate the school? Or would you say that the fire is in one location away from the student body and we can keep it under control?

Ebola is a disease that doesn’t show up immediately, so the person who contracts it doesn’t know immediately that he has it. And the people who have contact with him don’t have reason to think that he could have it. So when a person is finally diagnosed with it, it can be very difficult to identify and locate every person who could possibly have contracted it.

And we are supposed to think that there is no real danger here?
