Starting job will be RG3’ s, coach says

Robert Griffin III returned to practice Wednesday for the Washington Redskins, and coach Jay Gruden confirmed the thirdyear quarterbac­k will regain the starter’s job this season, though he didn’t know how long it would take.

Griffin threw passes in individual and one- on- one drills in his first such work since he dislocated his left ankle in Week 2. He wore cleats with high ankle support and looked a bit rusty.

Cowboys won’t suspend Randle

Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle says he made the ‘‘ biggest mistake of my life” after allegedly shopliftin­g $ 123 worth of cologne and underwear from a department store at a suburban Dallas mall Monday.
