Egglesfield DO, William Thomas

Age 72. Former longtime Crete and Morris resident, recently of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2015 with his loving family at his side. Graduate of University of Detroit High School, Wayne State University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. An Obstetrician/ Gynecologist, Bill served at Botsford Hospital, Bi-County Community Hospital, Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital for 16 years and Morris Hospital for 13 years, during which time he delivered over 6000+ babies into the world. An avid golfer, Bill enjoyed watching his Cubs, Tigers, Red Wings and Wolverines.

Dearest husband for 45 years of Kathleen (nee Dineen); loving father of Kerry (Tom) Boetel, Colin and Sean (Tammy) Egglesfield; devoted grandfather of Kiera, Mave, Nora and Shay Boetel, Megan, Tristan and Brennan Egglesfield; brother of Gary (Judy) Egglesfield; beloved brother-in-law and uncle to many.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday, October 11th from 2:00 p.m. until time of prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet Monday at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 3546 N.
