Man charged with multiple counts of child pornograph­y

A southwest suburban man was charged Tuesday with multiple counts of child pornograph­y possession.

Homer Wilson Jr., 50, is charged with five counts of possessing child pornograph­y with the intention to disseminat­e, a Class X felony, as well as 10 counts each of possessing child pornograph­y images and possessing child pornograph­y videos, both Class 2 felonies, according to a statement from the state’s attorney general’s office.

Police arrested Wilson after they found evidence of child pornograph­y in his home in the 400 block of Dancer Lane in Oswego, authoritie­s said.

Wilson faces between six and 30 years in state prison for the Class X felonies as well as three to seven years for each count of the Class 2 felonies, authoritie­s said. He is being held in the Kendall County Jail on a $1 million bond.
