Fans may know Rebel Wilson from her comedic turns in such movies as Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, but they might not know she also is an accomplished fashion designer. The actress, 35, whose new movie, How to Be Single, is in theaters now, launched a bold line for the plus-size retailer Torrid last year and has another coming this spring. Wilson looks great inmodern, hardedged looks but she also can pull off a softer, more romantic side. At the Elle Style Awards she proved just how well she can pull that off, wearing a flowing Eloquii dress (hey, if it isn’t broke, don’t change designers) and sporting gentle curls.

Who says the boldest part of your look has to be your dress? Wilson reminded us all how important tressing is. In an Eloquii dress, Sarah Flint shoes and holding an Edie Parker clutch at the MTV Video Music Awards, all eyes were on her pink-tipped hair.

Wilson’s best dress of 2015 was one of her last: a sparkling, midnight-blue fitted dress with a gorgeous scoop neck and a soft hemline. Pairing this dazzling number with simple, pointed pumps was the perfect way to let the dress shine.
