8injured in Dan Ryan crash

1 Eight people were injured in a multi- vehicle crash on the southbound Dan Ryan Expy. At 3: 39 p. m., five vehicles were involved in a crash near 71st Street, according to Illinois State Police. Three people and a child were taken in serious- to- critical condition to Stroger Hospital. Four other people, including three children, were taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, fire officials said. All lanes on the southbound Dan Ryan were shut down as officials investigated.
