Diemand, Lorelei “Lori” LaRose
Graphic designer and illustrator, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 12, 2016, in Chicago, IL. She was born on September 18, 1938 in Chicago. She attended Saint Columbanus grade school, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, Northwestern University, Illinois Institute of Technology and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her long career as a graphic designer, illustrator and advertising consultant in print, packaging, radio and TV was acknowledged by many creative awards given to her and to her clients.
She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Jeffrey P. Diemand; her sister, Joan; many nieces and nephews; and dear loving loyal friends. Lori was involved with many charitable causes and donated her services numerous times for charitable events. She served on the Women’s Board of the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Board of the Chicago Youth Centers, The Board of the Face the Future Foundation and The Guild Board of the Chicago History Museum.
Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 5472 South Kimbark Avenue, Chicago, IL 60615, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 1: 00 p. m., with a reception to follow.
