TAKING ACTION AGAINST TRUMP

• Prior to the Iowa caucus, Todd Ricketts’ super PAC, Our Principles PAC, spent about $2.5 million ripping presidential candidate Donald Trump. Trump finished second to Sen. Ted Cruz in Iowa.

• On Tuesday, Our Principles PAC announced a ‘‘seven-figure ad buy’’ with anti-Trump ads to run in Illinois, Michigan and Florida. Most of the ads are focused on Florida, where the winner gets to claim all of the state’s 99 delegates.

• As the polls closed on Super Tuesday, Ricketts was on a conference call with top business leaders to discuss how spending money can help define Trump.
