Ex-clothing store employee pleads guilty

-

A former employee of a Rosemont clothing store pleaded guilty Friday to stealing merchandise last year, court records show. In exchange for his guilty plea to wire fraud, Benjamin Forgie, 31, of the 1600 block of Sunnyside Avenue in Chicago, received 24 months of probation and ordered to pay $8,004 in restitution. Prosecutors say Forgie began working at an unidentified store on the 5300 block of Fashion Outlets Way last year and used fraudulent names to scan merchandise as returns. —Barbara Vitello
