Hospital deal closes

About 1,000 workers from Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital joined Northwestern Memorial HealthCare on Tuesday when Northwestern’s acquisition closed on the Wheaton-based health-care system. The deal includes Marianjoy’s hospital and outpatient clinics, the Marianjoy Medical Group and Marianjoy Foundation. Marianjoy’s Kathleen Yosko also will remain as president of the hospital.
