Age 99, was born in LaSalle, IL in November 1916. Was a lifelong Bridgeport-Chicago resident. Beloved husband of the late Maxine L. (nee Smith); loving father of Neva (Patrick) Shields, Mary Ellen (Steve) Mokrzycki, Stephen (Pamela), Ginger (Roland) Garza and the late Stanley Jr. “Stash”; cherished grandfathe­r of Michael Montalto, John Dailidonis, Laura Panczuk, James Panczuk, Stephen Windy, Samantha Windy, Amanda Windy, and great-grandfathe­r of Kyle, Luke, and Riley; loving son of the late Frank Sr. and Mary (Gill); dear brother of the late Edmund (late Josephine), late Ameila “Betty” (late Walter) Hyson, late Frank (Patricia); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Stanley was a retired Dockman of 29 years from Ryder Truck Lines and a member of the Teamsters local Union 710, Sr member of Poormans S.A.C., Former member of St. David’s Holy Name Society. Honorably served in the Civilian Conservati­on Corps 1934-1937 Co. 695 in Dixon Springs, IL.

We wish to thank all at Vitas Hospice Care and Help at Home personnel and caretakers for the care they gave our Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Alzeheimer’s Associatio­n and Epilepsy Foundation.

Visitation Sunday, April 24 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at the Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 West 26th St., Chicago, IL and visitation Monday, April 25 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Hurst Funeral Home, LaSalle, IL.
