Pitulla, Joseph T. “Joe”

Age 56, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Evergreen Park, living in Lockport for the past 12 years. He was the President of Pitulla Sales Incorporated for many years. A 1984 graduate of Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana. He was an avid golfer and exotic car enthusiast.

Preceded in death by his father, Samuel Pitulla ( December 2015); paternal and maternal grandparents; two uncles, Father Tom Pelton ( 2014) and Leonard Pitulla and an aunt, Virginia Carr.

Survived by two loving sons, Jake Joseph and Luke Shaw Pitulla; his devoted mother, Joanne ( nee Pelton) Pitulla; a brother, John Pitulla; and a sister, Mary ( Janusz) Umbrewicz; nephews, Angus and Ryan Pitulla and Nicholas and J. B. Umbrewicz; aunts, Norine Matthews, Colette ( Terence) McGuinness, Mary Anne ( George) Hannibal, Josephine Arena and Antoinette Daugherity; and an uncle, Patrick Carr; numerous cousins and many friends also survive.

Cremation rites have been respectfully addressed. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4: 00 p. m. to 8: 00 p. m. in the

O’NEIL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1105 E. 9th St. ( 159th St.), Lockport. Memorial services will be Friday, May 27, 2016, 10: 00 a. m. at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL 60467.
