Man fatally shot in Humboldt Park
A man was fatally shot early Sunday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on theWest Side, police said.
Officers responding to a call of shots fired about 12: 45 a. m. found the 31- year- old lying on the sidewalk in the 3400 block ofWest Hirsch, according to Chicago Police. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the face and was taken to Norwegian American Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Ashlee Rezin
Man critical in shooting at South Shore bus stop
A man was critically wounded in a shooting Sunday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood.
About 2: 30 p. m., the 18- yearold was standing at a bus stop in the 2900 block of East 79th Street when a vehicle, possibly a minivan, drove by and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said. He was struck in the leg and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said. Matthew Hendrickson
Manshot sleeping at house party
A man was shot Saturday night during a house party in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The 24- year- old man was shot in the leg at 10: 47 p. m. while sleeping on a couch during a house party in the 8400 block of South Parnell, according to Chicago Police. Someone with a handgun began to fire shots in the house, but he was not the intended target.

17- year- old boy shot
A 17- year- old boy was shot Sunday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on theWest Side.
He was standing outside in the 700 block of North Harding at 4: 53 p. m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the right leg, according to Chicago Police. He was taken toMount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. Daniel Brown
Man shot in Gresham
A man was shot early Sunday in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
At 2: 22 a. m., the 19- year- old was standing on the corner in the 8600 block of South Morgan when a black vehicle approached and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.
The man was shot in the arm and was in good condition, police said. Sara Freund
