Hamilton wins F1 race in Mexico

Pole- sitter Lewis Hamilton won the Mexican Grand Prix in Mexico City by 8.35 seconds over Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg. It was the 51st Formula One victory of Hamilton’s career, tying him with Alain Prost for the second- most in history.

The result left Hamilton 19 points behind Rosberg in the driver standings with two races left in the season. Even if Hamilton wins the last two races, Rosberg can claim the title with second- and thirdplace finishes.
