THREE ANDOUT

- — Adam L. Jahns

1. Floyd strikes again

The Vikings’ offensive line is banged up and bad, but no one should be calling rookie outside linebacker Leonard

Floyd a first- round bust. Floyd showed up in a big way. He sacked Sam Bradford on the Vikings’ second play in the second quarter.

The question was how Floyd would follow up his breakout game inWeek 7 against the Packers, when he had two sacks, a forced fumble and a touchdown.

Floyd’s stats weren’t as impressive, but he was a factor against the Vikings, who were double- teaming him by the fourth quarter. His speed is a problem for linemen, and his development is evident.

2. Yo, Adrian!

Free safety Adrian Amos stood out for his wallop in key moments.

In the first quarter, Amos violently filled the hole to stuff running back Matt Asiata for a short gain on a third- and- two run. Amos struck again in the second quarter. On secondandgoal from the Bears’ 2, Asiata broke an initial tackle attempt, but Amos came in and brought him down for no gain.

On the next play, Bradford was sacked by defensive end

Akiem Hicks for a 10- yard loss.

3. Fourth- down fun

Bradford’s best pass of the game came in the fourth quarter on a fourth- and- six play. He hit receiver Stefon Diggs over the middle for a 25- yard score. But there’s a caveat.

The touchdown came against inexperienced cornerback De’Vante Bausby. Veteran

Tracy Porter had been covering Diggs, but he left the game with an injury moments before the score.
