Hall, yes: Cornerback will be back

The Bears will get some help at cornerback when they play the Lions on Sunday at Ford Field. It’s not Kyle Fuller, but rather rookie Deiondre’ Hall, who is finally healthy.

Hall hasn’t played since a 17- 14 victory against the Lions in Week 4. He had an interception of Matthew Stafford in the game.

A few days later, Hall sprained his right ankle in practice.

“He’s a guy who we think has a bright future,” Fox said. “He has good length. He has good ball skills.”

Hall wasn’t listed on the injury report Friday.

“It’s a great feeling to not be on it,” Hall said. “I’m just waiting for my chance to get back out there on the field. I got a little bit of time early [ this season] and made a few plays, and then to get that injury and have significant time out really sucked. I’ve got a real sense of urgency to get back out there.”

As for Fuller, the Bears have the same approach as last week.

Coach John Fox said the team would wait until Saturday to decide whether to activate him from injured reserve.

“We’re still evaluating that,” Fox said.

Fuller underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee during the preseason. His recovery has been slow as the Bears wait for him to string good days together.

Fuller said Thursday that practices have been positive but that he still needs to “get all the way back.” He’s still dealing with pain.

“[ I] still have some work to do,” Fuller said.

Elsewhere, receiver Eddie Royal ( toe) and reserve offensive tackle Mike Adams ( back) did not practice. They are doubtful for Sunday.

These players are questionable: receiver Josh Bellamy ( shoulder), receiver Marquess Wilson ( groin), linebacker Jonathan Anderson ( hamstring) and cornerback Johnthan Banks ( ankle).

Outside linebacker Willie Young ( knee) had full participation in practice after sitting out Thursday.
