Santa Claus for the Chicago Blackhawk Families for 50 years; 30year member of the Wilmot Mountain Ski Patrol and Director from 1992 to 1998; inducted as a Chevalier of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in June, 1993; Past Grand President and Past Grand Secretary of the Luxembourg Brotherhood of America; Past President of the Luxembourg News of America; Founding Member and Patron of the Luxembourg-American Cultural Society, Belgium, WI; 1955 graduate and avid fan of the University of Notre Dame; 1951 graduate, St. George High School, Evanston; and lifelong parishioner and Minister of Care of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Chicago.

Devoted son of the late George J. and Marie Rolling Meyers; loving brother of the late Dolores ( the late Christopher) Chozianin; adopted father and grandfather of the Bill and Denise Jones Family; fond cousin, uncle and friend to many.
