Longtime Wasilla resident Sherelle Denise Keita, 59, left this earth surrounded by family and friends on March 11, 2017, at Mat- Su Regional Hospital, Alaska.

A memorial service to honor Sherelle’s life will be held at MANNA Baptist Church on Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Sherelle Denise Keita was born June 3, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, to Felix W. McAfee Sr. and Brenetta McAfee.

She ran and operated assisted living homes and was known for her generosity and her love for her family. She was greatly loved by her family, friends and residents who she thought of as family. She was had a great love for family and was very proud of her children and grandchild­ren.

She is survived by her two sons and her daughter, Will Strong Jr., daughter- in- law, Rebecca Ann Strong of Lynchburg, Virginia, Richard Lee Strong, of Mobile Alabama, Kellee Deneen Burk, son- in- law Ron Burk, of Milan Michigan; ten grandchild­ren, Will Strong III, Elijah Terrell, Kristina Strong, Lonyae Terrell, Jeshua Strong, Precious Terrell, Rachel Strong, Raven Strong, Robyn Strong, Rynae Strong; her siblings, Felix W. McAfee Jr., Delbert McAfee, Anodray McAfee, Frederick McAfee, Lori Dyer and brother- in- law James, Cynthia Smith, Selena Driver and brother- inlaw Derrick, Lorie Alexander and brother- in- law Darryl, Veronica McAfee, Edith McAfee Kopas and brother- in- law Derrick, Christophe­r McAfee and sister- in- law Ruthie, Deshaun McAfee and sister- inlaw Tanya, and her fiancé Lawerence Humble. Sherelle Keita was prceeded in death by her father, Felix W. McAfee Sr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her family to help with final expenses.
