( nee Osei) Age 69, Native of Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana.

Beloved wife of Benjamin Bekoe; devoted mother of Kwaasibea ( Cesario) Bekoe Osaghae, Oteng Bekoe, and Osei Bekoe; devoted Nana of Adesuwa Osaghae, Esohe Osaghae, Imade Osaghae, and Alana Faye Elizabeth Bekoe; dear sister of Peter Osei Owusu, Akosua Nsonyameye, Dorcas Konadu, Akua Serwaa, Kwaku Apea, and Kwabena Agyei. Retired Employee of Quaker Oats Co/ Pepsico and retired teacher of Chicago Public Schools ( Hyde Park, Harper, and Clemente High Schools were notable among the schools where Elizabeth taught). She was very much involved in Special Education as this was her favorite field.

Elizabeth graduated from Chicago State University with BSc in High School Education and Master of Arts degrees in Special Education. Elizabeth traveled to Cancun, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Dominica in the Caribbean on various occasions during summer vacations. She traveled frequently to Ghana to visit relatives.

On Tuesday, August 22, 2017, Elizabeth, Wife, Mom, and Grandma, succumbed and passed on to eternity.
