Sources say Cavaliers want to keep Love

The Cavaliers aren’t actively shopping forward Kevin Love heading into the NBA Draft on Thursday, multiple sources told ESPN. Furthermor­e, regardless of what decision LeBron James makes about his future, the Cavaliers are interested in keeping Love next season, those sources said.

Love, who will turn 30 in September, averaged 17.6 points on 45.8 percent shooting ( 41.5 percent from three- point range) and 9.3 rebounds in 59 games during the regular season for the Cavaliers. He missed time with a hand injury.

His scoring dipped to 14.9 points on 39.2 percent shooting ( 34 percent from three- point range) to go with 10.2 rebounds in the playoffs as the Cavaliers advanced to the NBA Finals against the Warriors for the fourth consecutiv­e season.

Hornets to deal Howard to Nets

Multiple outlets reported the Hornets have agreed to trade center Dwight Howard to the Nets for center Timofey Mozgov and two second- round draft picks.

The Hornets reportedly will get the Nets’ second- round pick in the draft Thursday ( 45th overall) and a second- round pick in 2021. The teams haven’t announced the deal, and the NBA can’t approve it until the trade moratorium ends July 6.

Howard, 32, averaged 16.6 points and 12.5 rebounds this past season. He is scheduled to make $ 23.8 million in 2018- 19, the final year of his contract.

Wizards- Knicks in London

The NBA announced it will return to London with a regularsea­son game Jan. 17, 2019, between the Wizards and Knicks.

It will be the NBA’s ninth regular- season game in London, and the first eight have been sellouts. The Knicks have played there twice, facing the Pistons in 2013 and the Bucks in 2015. This will be the Wizards’ debut in London.
