Su­san Al­berts nee We­in­stein, age 71, beloved daugh­ter of the late Ann and Charles of Flint, Michi­gan, adored wife of Barry and lov­ing mother of Jaime, on Dec. 4 at 5 pm East­ern. Susie was orig­i­nally a so­cial worker at the first abor­tion clinic in Illi­nois, and later be­came devoted to fa­cil­i­tat­ing healthy child de­vel­op­ment through Feldenkrais and Childspace. A lover of books, po­etry, art and mu­sic, she was pas­sion­ate about time in na­ture, travel, and re­la­tion­ships with fam­ily and dear friends. Susie was a bea­con of light and joy, who danced to the beat of her own drum­mer and touched in­nu­mer­able lives. Her body is gone but her love is not.
