Hyka gives Wolves the game-win­ner

For­ward To­mas Hyka’s goal mid­way through the third pe­riod made the dif­fer­ence as the Wolves snapped the Iowa Wild’s 10-game point streak with a 5-4 win Fri­day night in Des Moines.

Wolves for­ward Tyler Wong had his first twogoal game as a pro while Hyka, for­ward Daniel Carr and de­fense­man Nic Hague also scored for the Wolves (12-9-2-1). For­ward Kee­gan Kole­sar had two as­sists and goalie Max La­gace (6-5-1) had 22 saves. The Wild (13-5-4-2) got two goals from Mitch

McLain as they an­swered each of the Wolves’ first four goals, but they couldn’t score again af­ter Hyka’s re­di­rect of a shot by Dy­lan Cogh­lan with 9:51 left.
