Sky bring back guard Harper
The Sky announced Monday that they had re-signed guard Linnae Harper. Details of the contract weren’t disclosed.
Harper, a Chicago native who played high school ball at Young, averaged two points and 6.1 minutes in 24 games last season after going undrafted.
‘‘I like Linnae’s toughness, I like her poise,’’ Sky general manager and coach James
Wade said. ‘‘I like the fact that in certain spots Linnae plays like a wise veteran . . . . Linnae brings the kind of energy and enthusiasm that coaches like in young players.’’
Harper spent this offseason playing in Israel. She averaged 18.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals for Ramat Hasharon.
