Durant leads Warriors in romp

Kevin Durant scored 38 points and Steph Curry added 21 as the Warriors had little trouble in a 132-105 rout of the Clippers in Game 3 on Thursday in Los Angeles. The Warriors hold a 2-1 series lead with Game 4 scheduled Sunday. Andrew Bogut grabbed 14 rebounds, while Draymond Green added 10 assists.

The Warriors led 41-24 after the first quarter and 73-52 at halftime.

76ers 131, Nets 115

Ben Simmons scored a career-playoff-high 31 points, Tobias Harris added 29 points and 16 rebounds and the visiting 76ers shook off the absence of Joel Embiid to take a 2-1 lead in the firstround series.

Simmons was 11-for-13 from the field, and he added nine assists. Harris had playoff highs in both points and rebounds, and was 6-for-6 from three-point range. J.J. Redick was 5-for-9 behind the arc and finished with 26 points.

Embiid warmed up before the game but the 76ers announced shortly before the game that the he wouldn’t be available because of a sore left knee.

Spurs 118, Nuggets 108

Derrick White had a careerhigh 36 points to lead the host Spurs, who took a 2-1 series lead.

Nikola Jokic had 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Nuggets.

The Grizzlies’ Kyle Anderson had surgery on his right shoulder and should be ready for training camp. The 6-9 forward averaged eight points and 6.8 rebounds in 40 starts.

♦ Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. had surgery for a stress fracture in his lower left leg and should be ready for training camp. The 6-6 guard averaged 15.5 points in 19 games after being acquired from the Knicks in the Kristaps Porzingis trade.
