Man killed in West Town shooting

A 19-year-old man was fatally shot Monday in West Town.

He was getting into a vehicle about 1 a.m. in the first block of North Hermitage Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

The man was struck in the back and taken by friends to Rush University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
