MAN STABBED WITH SCISSORS ON RED LINE TRAIN AT SAME STATION
In another stabbing at the Cermak Chinatown station, a man was stabbed on a Red Line train during the morning rush Wednesday.
The 28-year-old was on a train about 8:30 a.m. when someone approached and yelled that he knew him, Chicago police said. The person took out a pair of scissors and stabbed the man in the arm.
He was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment, police said. His condition had stabilized. The man told investigators he did not know the man who stabbed him.
The alleged stabber was arrested, and charges were pending, police said.
