MAN STABBED WITH SCISSORS ON RED LINE TRAIN AT SAME STATION

In another stabbing at the Cermak Chinatown station, a man was stabbed on a Red Line train during the morning rush Wednesday.

The 28-year-old was on a train about 8:30 a.m. when someone approached and yelled that he knew him, Chicago police said. The person took out a pair of scissors and stabbed the man in the arm.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment, police said. His condition had stabilized. The man told investigat­ors he did not know the man who stabbed him.

The alleged stabber was arrested, and charges were pending, police said.
