THE CHEAT SHEET

-

TITANS at CHIEFS

Time: 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Ch. 2.

Line: Chiefs by 7. Total: 52½. Records (overall/ATS): Titans 117/10-7-1; Chiefs 13-4/11-5-1. Outlook: The Titans can’t be dismissed after impressive road victories over the Patriots (20-13) and Ravens (28-12) and have the hottest RB in the game in Derrick Henry, who is averaging 149.3 yards per game and 6.5 yards per carry in six games — a run that started with 188 yards and 2 TDs in a 35-32 upset of the Chiefs in Week 10 at Nissan Stadium. Their run-based winning formula is solid but not foolproof against the Chiefs, who with Patrick Mahomes can take an opponent’s best shot and just keep on truckin’. That said, the Chiefs’ home-field advantage might not be all it’s cracked up to be — the Chiefs have been eliminated at home the last three postseasons.

Mark Potash’s pick: Chiefs 38, Titans 23 (Best bet)

Marc Silverman’s pick: Chiefs

David Kaplan’s pick: Chiefs (Best bet)

PACKERS at 49ERS

Time: 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Fox-32. Line: 49ers by 7½. Total: 46. Records (overall/ATS): Packers 143/11-6; 49ers 14-3/10-6-1.

Outlook: The 49ers’ 37-8 rout of the Packers at Levi’s Stadium in Week 12 is daunting — they led 23-0 at halftime without Joe Staley, Dee Ford and Matt Breida. But the specter of Aaron Rodgers getting 7½ points is daunting as well after the Packers QB again found a way to win and cover with key third-down conversions against the Seahawks. Richard Sherman vs. Davante Adams and Mike Pettine’s defensive front vs. the 49ers’ protection scheme are key matchups. Adams had 7 catches for 43 yards in Week 12. The Packers need a lot of things to go right to win, but it’s tough to bet against Rodgers vs. a team that has never won a game this big. Potash’s pick: 49ers 24, Packers 16 Silverman’s pick: 49ers (Best bet) Kaplan’s pick: 49ers
