Thomas A. Noffsinger Jr. (Tommy), Army Veteran, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday. Tommy was a member of Local 597 Pipefitter’s union for 40 years prior to his retirement in 2019. He was a third generation pipefitter who was proud of the fact that his paternal grandfather, his father, he, and his son all had successful careers in the field. He was the devoted and loving father of Brian (Alexandra) Noffsinger and Gina (Matthew) Bozyk and fond stepfather of Lauren Korosa. He was the favorite human to his feline fur babies, Poochie & Scooter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Noffsinger, nee Glynn, (mother of Lauren) and survived by his former spouse Carmel, nee Duffy, (mother of Brian and Gina). He was the dearly loved son of Thomas Sr. and Carol, nee Bush. Cherished Brother of Tracelle “Traci” (Barry) Morrison, and “King of Cool” uncle of Brad, Robin, and Rachel Morrison. Beloved nephew of Anne & Raymond Waters and the late Jean Lindburg. Tommy’s larger than life personality will be dearly missed by his many cousins, friends and coworkers. Visitation is Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation Friday at the funeral home from 8:30 am until time of prayers at 9:30am. Mass 10 am St. Daniel the Prophet Church. Cremation private. Tommy’s cremains will be buried with his beloved Patricia at St. Mary Cemetery at a later date. Tommy was the quintessential rocker so remember him fondly when listening to music or wearing your favorite concert t-shirt.
