Lost a hard-fought, courageous battle with cancer on May 1, 2021. Loving husband of Gina R. MayoHawk; father of Chamus Felton Hawk; step-father of Stephen Hicks and Geoffrey Hicks; grandfather of Chasyn “Da Sheriff” Hawk and Kennedi “Nugget” Hicks; son of Grace HawkWilliams and the late Homus Hawk; brother of Theron Hawk; son-inlaw of John A. and Johnnie M. Mayo; brother-inlaw of Michael (Jacqueline) Mayo and Carolyn Jo (Paul) Billingsly; also survived by a host of other relatives and lifelong friends. The family will receive friends at a Visitation on Friday the 14th 4-7 pm at Wallace Broadview Funeral Home 2020 W. Roosevelt Road Broadview, IL 60155. The family will also receive friends Saturday, May 15, 2021, 10 AM - 11 AM at New Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 2700 West Wilcox Street, Chicago, Illinois 60612, where a Celebration of Life will immediately follow. Final resting place Washington Memory Gardens, in Homewood, Illinois.
