THE CHEAT SHEET

-

BEARS at BROWNS

Time: Noon, Fox-32.

Line: Browns by 7. Total: 45½. Records (overall/ATS): Bears 1-1/1-1; Browns 1-1/0-2. Outlook: Rookie QB Justin Fields is a wild card in his first NFL start vs. a Browns defense that is both vulnerable and dangerous. If Fields avoids disaster, the Bears’ rejuvenated defense gives them a chance at the upset.

Pick: Browns 19, Bears 17.

COLTS at TITANS

Time: Noon.

Line: Titans by 5. Total: 48. Records (overall/ATS): Colts 0-2/1-1; Titans 1-1/1-1.

Outlook: Colts QB Carson Wentz figures to be gimpy at best if he plays after suffering two sprained ankles last week — how does that even happen? Colts’ defense needs to keep this close.

Pick: Titans 20, Colts 16.

FALCONS at GIANTS

Time: Noon.

Line: Giants by 3. Total: 47½. Records (overall/ATS): Falcons 0-2/0-2; Giants 0-2/1-1. Outlook: Arthur Smith was supposed to be a boon for Matt Ryan, but the veteran QB has taken a step back instead. A Giants defense that has allowed 8 TDs, 0 INTs could help solve the problem. Pick: Falcons 31, Giants 28.

RAVENS at LIONS

Time: Noon.

Line: Ravens by 8½. Total: 50. Records (overall/ATS): Ravens 1-1/1-1; Lions 0-2/1-1.

Outlook: The last nine QBs to face the Lions have an average rating of 140.2 (23 TDs, 0 INTs). Now the Lions face Lamar Jackson, who adds the running element like no other (28 carries, 193 yards., 6.9 avg.). Pick: Ravens 24, Lions 17.

CHARGERS at CHIEFS

Time: Noon.

Line: Chiefs by 6½. Total: 54½. Records (overall/ATS): Chargers 1-1/1-1; Chiefs 1-1/0-2.

Outlook: Chiefs figure to respond after losing to the Ravens. They’re 4-0 SU/ATS in their last four following a loss. But Justin Herbert vs. Chiefs’ “D” could keep it close. Pick: Chiefs 34, Chargers 31.

SAINTS at PATRIOTS

Time: Noon.

Line: Patriots by 3. Total: 42. Records (overall/ATS): Saints 1-1/1-1; Patriots 1-1/1-1. Outlook: The Jameis Winston Experience already is looking like Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, making the Saints a tough team to bet on. Pick: Patriots 21, Saints 17.

BENGALS at STEELERS

Time: Noon.

Line: Steelers by 3. Total: 43½. Records (overall/ATS): Bengals 1-1/1-1; Steelers 1-1/1-1.

Outlook: Bengals QB Joe Burrow likely to bounce back against a shaky Steelers pass defense after throwing 3 INTs against the Bears. Pick: Bengals 24, Steelers 20.

DOLPHINS at RAIDERS

Time: 3:05 p.m., Ch. 2.

Line: Raiders by 4. Total: 45. Records (overall/ATS): Dolphins 1-1/1-1; Raiders 2-0/2-0. Outlook: Derek Carr is on fire — (435 and 382 passing yards, 4 TDs vs. the Ravens/Steelers), but he’ll be playing on a bum ankle.

Pick: Raiders 20, Dolphins 17.

SEAHAWKS at VIKINGS

Time: 3:25 p.m.

Line: Seahawks by 1½. Total: 55½. Records (overall/ATS): Seahawks 1-1/1-1; Vikings 1-1/1-1.

Outlook: Both teams are coming off painful losses. Hard to bet against Russell Wilson here.

Pick: Seahawks 30, Vikings 23.

BUCCANEERS at RAMS Time: 3:25 p.m., Fox-32.

Line: Buccaneers by 1½. Total: 56. Records (overall/ATS): Bucs 2-0/1-1; Rams 2-0/1-1.

Outlook: Buccaneers’ offense smoked the Cowboys and Falcons, but Rams will slow them down. Pick: Rams 27, Bucs 24 (OT).

EAGLES at COWBOYS

Time: 7:15 p.m. Monday, ESPN. Line: Cowboys by 4. Total: 51½. Records (overall/ATS): Eagles 1-1/1-1; Cowboys 1-1/2-0. Outlook: The Cowboys are 10-2 SU/9-3 ATS at home against NFC East opponents since 2017.
