Huguelet III, Louis E.

Louis E. Huguelet III, age 76, of Oak Forest, Illinois, gained his wings on May 15, 2022. Louis was born on April 7, 1946 to the late Louis and Dorothy Huguelet in Chicago, Illinois. He was a United States Navy Veteran who served from 1965-1970, IC2/E5. In 1967 he married the love of his life, the late Cheri Lyn Dvorak. They went on to have 3 beautiful children: Lesly Velez, Coleen Huguelet, and Corinne (Daniel) Hendershot. He was the cherished grandfather of Courtney (Douglas) Louiselle, Sydney Velez, Seth Velez, Destinee Hendershot, Evin Huguelet, Domenic Hendershot, Daniel Hendershot, Jr., David Hendershot, Melodee Hendershot, and Braydon Huguelet. Louis was the dear brother of Donna (Harold) Bulow, Doreen Sampson, Deborah Walters, Lance Huguelet, and the late Kenneth Huguelet. He was loved by his nieces, nephews, many adopted children and grandchildren, and all of his wonderful friends. Funeral Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 9:30 a.m at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Forest. Interment Mt. Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, May 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Louis’s name may be made to the National Rifle Association, www.home.nra.org, or the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police, www.ilfop.org.
