THE CHEAT SHEET

- BY MARK POTASH

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP 49ERS AT EAGLES

Time: 2 p.m. Sunday, Fox-32.

Line: Eagles by 2½. Total: 46½.

Records (overall/ATS): 49ers 15-4/13-6; Eagles 15-3/9-9.

Outlook: The clock didn’t strike midnight on 49ers rookie QB Brock Purdy’s storybook season against the Cowboys, but it ticked a little closer to it — 214 passing yards and no touchdown passes for the first time in six starts. Now Purdy faces an even better defense in the Eagles, and the chance for a clunker increases. The 49ers also are a little beat up with Deebo Samuel and RBs Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell banged up. The Eagles dominated the upstart Giants last week, but they’re not as good as they’ve been. After leading the NFL with a plus-15 turnover differential through eight games, they’re minus-7 in their last 10. The 49ers are plus-19 in that span.

Pick: 49ers 20, Eagles 19.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP BENGALS AT CHIEFS

Time: 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Ch. 2.

Line: Bengals by 1. Total: 47.

Records (overall/ATS): Bengals 14-4/13-4-1; Chiefs 15-3/5-12-1.

Outlook: Everything seems tilting the Bengals’ way after Joe Burrow masterfully flummoxed the Bills with a Brady-like performance in the snow in suburban Buffalo and Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain that limited his mobility — but not his moxie — in a 27-20 victory over the Jaguars. Burrow is 3-0 SU/ATS against Mahomes, including a 27-24 OT victory in last year’s AFC Championship Game. The Bengals have won 10 straight (9-1 ATS). Mahomes is expected to start despite an injury that forces most players to miss four to six weeks. If Mahomes can’t make plays outside the pocket, the Chiefs are in trouble. But you can’t put anything past this guy.

Pick: Chiefs 24, Bengals 21.
