Report: Dragic may join Bucks
Former Bulls guard Goran Dragic might sign with the Bucks as soon as Friday, ESPN reported. The Bulls waived Dragic this week after he was made expendable by the signing of guard Patrick Beverley. He cleared waivers Thursday.
ESPN said Dragic is expected to meet with the Bucks on Friday. Dragic, 36, averaged 6.4 points, 2.7 assists and 15.4 minutes in 51 games with the Bulls this season, his 16th in the NBA.
♦ Kyle Kuzma scored the game’s first 10 points and finished with 30, and the Wizards beat the Raptors 119-108. Washington (30-32) moved within percentage points of ninthplace Toronto (31-33) in the Eastern Conference standings.
♦ LeBron James is expected to miss most of March with an injured tendon in his right foot, the Lakers said. The team did not disclose the full extent of the injury, saying it was a tendon issue and he will be “reevaluated in approximately three weeks.”

Goalie Quick traded again, to Golden Knights
Jonathan Quick is on the move again, back to the Pacific Division to solve the Golden Knights’ latest goaltending quandary. Vegas, which lost All-Star starter Logan Thompson to an injury, acquired Quick from Columbus, less than 36 hours after the Kings traded the two-time Stanley Cupwinning goaltender and 2014 playoff MVP to the Blue Jackets.

Kamara pleads not guilty in assault case
Saints running back Alvin Kamara, Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons and two other men pleaded not guilty in Nevada to charges they beat a man unconscious at a Las Vegas Strip nightclub before the NFL’s 2022 Pro Bowl.
♦ Jerry Richardson, the Panthers founder and for years one of the NFL’s most influential owners until a scandal forced him to sell the team, has died. He was 86.

Rockies’ Rodgers might need surgery
Rockies manager Bud Black said Gold Glovewinning second baseman Brendan Rodgers could be looking at surgery after he dislocated his left shoulder while diving for a grounder up the middle in a spring-training game Wednesday.
