B. Kubistal, PHD; Beloved daughter of the late Edward J. and Bernice M., nee Lenz, Kubistal; Dear sister of Carol A. (Robert L.) Aiken; Fond aunt of Candace N. (Ronald) EitutisPen­well; Great aunt of Amber N. (Bryson) Starks-Cobb, Lillian S. Eitutis, and the late Michael J. Eitutis. She is also survived by several cousins. She leaves many dear friends and people that she mentored. She will be dearly missed. Patricia attended St. Matthias Elementary School, Alvernia High School “55 and Loyola University ‘“59,’64,’65,’68. She was employed by the Chicago Public Schools beginning in 1959 and became a self employed Educationa­l Consultant from 1993 to 2023, presenting major presentati­ons and workshops. She held several university positions at the University of Illinois and Chicago City Colleges, Loyola University of Chicago, Mundelein College, Illinois Institute of Technology, DePaul University, and National Lewis University. She received numerous awards including Outstandin­g Illinois Educator Award Outstandin­g Teacher Award, Chicago Public Schools Boy Scouts of America Eagle Mentorship Award, Chicago Principals and Administra­tors Movers and Shakers Award, Delta Kappa Gamma Society Internatio­nal, Lambda State Achievemen­t Award, Kappa Gamma Pi Faith and Service Recognitio­n Award, and many other awards too numerous to list.

Patricia was Commission­ed as a Kentucky Colonel. She was a member of many Profession­al and Honor Societies: life Member of National Education Associatio­n and the Illinois Education Associatio­n, Chicago Principals and Administra­tors Associatio­n,

American Academy of Political and Social Scientists, American Associatio­n of Psychologi­cal Type, Chicago Area Associatio­ns of Psychologi­cal Type Ella Flagg Young Club/National Council of Administra­tive Women, Associatio­n of Measuremen­t in Education, Illinois Computing educators, Council for Exceptiona­l Children. National Associatio­n of Administra­tors if Special Education, National Associatio­n for Learning disabiliti­es, National Council for Children with behavioral Disorders, Illinois associatio­n of Administra­tors of Special Education, Illinois Associatio­n for Learning Disabiliti­es, Illinois council for Behavior Disorders, National Associatio­n for Gifted, Chicago Area council for Behavior Disorders, Chicago Area Associatio­ns for Gifted, Chicago Area Council for Behavior Disorders, Chicago Area Council for Learning Disabiliti­es, Kappa Gamma Pi, Pi Gamma Mu, Phi Delta Kappa , Delta Kappa Gamma, Delta Sigma Rho.

Patricia was active in many Civic and community organizati­ons: St. Matthias Parish Council, President of the Retired Teachers Associatio­n of Chicago, President Chicago Principal’s Associatio­n Auxiliary, West Winnemac Park Neighbors to name a few.

Visitation Thursday, September 28 from 3-8 PM and Friday, September 29 from 9-9:45 AM at SmithCorco­ran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Avenue, Chicago. Funeral Mass Friday, September 29 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 2310 W Ainslie Street, Chicago. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
